Every photo tells the full story
At capture time, Arguox pulls metadata from multiple sources and burns it directly onto the image — no editing, no separate file.
- Custom text lines you define in Settings (job number, supervisor, site name)
- GPS coordinates + reverse-geocoded street address via OpenStreetMap Nominatim
- Device brand, model, and OS version
- Rule-of-thirds grid overlay and tap-to-focus for accurate framing
- Environmental overlays: map thumbnail, altitude, pressure, weather & humidity — each toggled independently, all off by default

Built for attendance and delivery
Switch to Dual mode in Settings to get separate IN and OUT capture buttons — each with its own API endpoint and full metadata stamp.
- IN tap logs arrival; OUT tap logs departure — each posts to a separate endpoint
- Every capture carries GPS, timestamp, device info, and your custom label lines
- Ideal for employee check-ins, delivery proof, and shift tracking
- Upload queue handles both action types independently with per-item retry

Logo & Metadata
Your branding on every capture
Upload your company logo and configure exactly which metadata fields appear on the overlay. Everything is local — no account, no cloud sync.
- PNG logo upload with magic-byte validation — not just file extension checking
- Logo pinned to the corner opposite the metadata text, never overlapping
- Add custom label lines (e.g. "Job #1042", "Supervisor: Juan") above all metadata
- Toggle Location, Date & Time, and Device Info on or off individually
- Font size and opacity sliders apply to the full overlay including your logo
- Environmental section: enable map thumbnail, altitude, barometric pressure, weather condition, and humidity per field

Overlay & API
Post to anything. Log to anywhere.
Point captures to any HTTPS endpoint — your own server, a webhook, or a free Google Apps Script. No hosting required for the Sheets path.
- Overlay corner: Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, or Bottom Right
- Single mode (CAPTURE) or Dual mode (IN / OUT) with separate endpoints
- JSON payload includes action, timestamp, GPS, address, device info, and imageBase64
- Google Apps Script: auto-saves photo to Drive, logs a row to Sheets — free, no server
- Auto-upload toggle; failed items retry automatically on reconnect

Private, On-Device
No account. No cloud. Syncs when ready.
Capture and local save always work on-device. The app queues uploads when offline and drains the queue automatically when connectivity returns.
- Camera, metadata burn, and gallery save happen entirely on-device
- GPS and reverse geocoding are skipped offline — device timestamp and manual details still appear on the overlay
- Upload queue retries failed items automatically on reconnect
- Bulk "Retry Failed" and per-item retry buttons in the queue modal
- Free plan requires internet for ads — Remove Ads unlocks full offline use
